Sitting nude

Description

This figure was an early exploration in building a human likeness through the assemblage of a patchwork of discarded items. Through my exploration I became interested in the ability of heavy physical repetition to give the impression of unity and decided to backtrack, building the piece entirely from a single item in repetition, namely beer bottle caps, sewn together with steel and copper wire.
