Description

A droll two-piece meditation on human relationship. Here are two bears at play, one made of aluminum and one made of stainless steel. Both figures are constructed from metals which, when separated from each other, are considered stable and highly resistant to corrosion. Alone, each bear could survive indefinitely. When physically touching, however, they begin to corrode one another through the process of galvanic corrosion until one eventually crumbles to dust. Commissioned as a wedding anniversary gift.
