Impotent Cowboy

California Fever-Dreaming is a body of work that looks askance at American Western mythology, Manifest Destiny, Western Machismo and the way of life from the days of European conquest to now. This sculpture is part of a series of studies modeled after “Cowboy and Indian” toy figures, stripped of their weaponry and rearranged into absurd new scenarios.
